Despite being told to keep eggs in the refridgerator,the best way to keep eggs is at room temperature.This is a reproduction of an old egg safe,featurig three shelfs with  apertures cut out for each egg to rest in.
The hinged door is mostly chicken wire framed in wood.The whole piece is painted white.
You can use this with real eggs or use fake ones for display if you wish.Either way,it'll look great.
